Plenty of varied activities in the limestone hills "causse de Limogne" where there are multiple footpaths and trails for on foot or mountain bike or horse-riding with our local village equestrian centre , swimming pool, tennis courts and boule pitches. Golf course 20 minutes away. Lake and river 10 km away with canoes and kayaks.
Worth visiting in the region : : les Phosphatières, St Cirq Lapopie, Bastide du Rouergue, Rocamadour - La Grotte Pech Merle.
For lovers of astronomy the sky and land here are priviliged places, the South facing land stretches out beyond the horizon opening a huge doorway into the stars. The lack of light pollution produces a stunning effect.
At the entrance to the gite a path leads onto the trail to Saint Jacques de Compostelle which means you can set out in the morning or evening to discover the countryside with its dry stone walls and traditional stone shepherd's huts "gariottes". On the land there are swings for children and lots of space for them to play.
You will recharge your batteries in the countryside It won't take longer than a weekend for the tranquillity and beauty of the area to relax you. Each season has its own charm.
Country cottage in 5 acres within the "causses du Quercy" nature park, semi-detached with the owners who will give you a warm welcome and help you choose the places to visit.
Local Market every Sunday morning. Truffle market in the summer ,Sunday morning ,from mid June to mid August and the Perigord Truffle market, on Friday morning, from December to mid March. Summer activities: July 14th antique and bric a brac market in Limogne, 14th and 15th August ,big traditional local celebration with outdoor meal and firework display.
